Course Duration: 10 days plus 1½ days for exams NEBOSH National General Certificate syllabus is similar to the International
General Certificate, with the exception that the National General Certificate
is based on UK law.
Upon successful completion of the certificate, delegates will receive a NEBOSH
certificate and they can apply for a membership with Institution of Occupational
Safety and Health (IOSH) and/or International Institute of Risk and Safety Management
(IIRSM) as its qualification meets the academic requirements for Technician
Membership (Tech IOSH) of IOSH and Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the IIRSM.
There are two written examinations: Paper 1 Management of Health & Safety;
Paper 2 Controlling Workplace Hazards, plus a workplace-based practical assignment.
